Forum: universallibrary Subject: poor quality of recently added Chinese books

Why are all those recently added Chinese language books scanned so pooorly? Just one example - http://www.archive.org/details/02087291.cn - Ppi is said to be 600, but I doubt it's as high as 140. It's a pity that such a huge collection of rare books has been scanned so badly.

I have downloaded the mentioned pdf, and exported it as jpg. It is truly a 600dpix600dpi scan.
